Built to answer one question:
how is the economy actually doing.

Indicators IQ tracks 32 indicators across six economic pillars, scores them into a single live Macro IQ reading, and translates the numbers into plain English — so you don't spend ten hours a week doing it yourself.

Why this exists

Built by an analyst who was tired of the noise.

Every economic cycle produces the same problem: too much data, too little context. The releases arrive on schedule — CPI on a Tuesday, payrolls on a Friday — and the commentary arrives louder. But the data alone doesn't tell you what it means for your decisions, right now, in this specific macro environment.

Indicators IQ was built to close that gap. The platform combines automated high-frequency data pipelines from FRED, the BEA, and the Census Bureau with professional analyst synthesis. Every composite score, regime label, and "what it means for you" callout is the product of both algorithmic processing and human judgment — not one or the other.

The goal is simple: give anyone who needs to understand the macro environment the so what behind the data, in the time it takes to read a summary.

"I use AI as the engine and professional judgment as the pilot. The machine handles the data ingestion and pattern recognition. The analyst handles the interpretation."
Richard Pinto
